A top-down cardigan in reversed stockinette stitch, this piece embodies clean lines and quiet detail. Subtle ribs frame the drop shoulders and button band, offering a gentle contrast in texture. With an easy, relaxed fit, it layers effortlessly over a tank or can be worn open for an understated, laid-back look.
Designed to showcase Brise, our new spring-summer yarn, the cardigan combines subtle textures with an effortless drape, making it the perfect piece for warmer days. For a less oversized fit, consider sizing down to reduce ease.
Brise offers a soft, elegant drape and will bloom gently with washing and blocking. To ensure your best fit, we recommend knitting a swatch and reviewing the finished measurements in the schematic. To achieve the most optimal marled effect and consistency, we suggest alternating skeins throughout your knitting project.

Worked top down starting with the neckband. Shoulders are shaped with increases, and the neckline is shaped using short rows. The back and fronts are worked separately to underarms, then joined and worked in one piece to bottom hem. Sleeve stitches are picked up around the armhole and worked to cuff. Buttonholes are reinforced with whipstitch. Buttons are sewn to correspond with buttonholes. Choose the size with 9-13” / 23-33 cm of positive ease.
