The Irving Sweater is a study in quiet intention. Knit top-down with a classic raglan construction, and thoughtfully punctuated with just the right amount of detail to keep the maker engaged from the first stitch to the last.
Irving invites a sense of choice and personal rhythm. Sleeves can be knit longer for a more enveloping feel, or kept classic for everyday ease. A folded cuff offers a sculptural finish, while a traditional cuff lends a more understated edge.
The silhouette lands at the waist, considered, versatile, and effortlessly wearable. A piece designed not to overwhelm, but to accompany; quietly, beautifully, and with intention.

The pullover is worked seamlessly from the top down, the shaped neckline is worked flat, then the yoke is joined in the round to work raglan shaping to the armhole.
Stitches for the sleeves are placed on hold, and the body is worked in the round to the hem. When the body is completed, sleeves are worked in the round to the cuffs.
There are two sleeve lengths, a regular length and a folded version. Choose the size with 4–10″ / 15–25 cm of positive ease.

Sample 2 (size 2, color no. TDK20R) is on 5′ 7″ / 170 cm model.
We would love to see your completed project.
