Krolle

Cardigan

$10

Krolle balances a modern, geometric silhouette with a forgiving fit. Paneled construction, a sloped waist seam, and minimal shaping create a slight cocoon shape.

NOTES

Cardigan fronts and back are knit in Flette held together with Tynd. Body pieces are knit flat and seamed. Shoulders are shaped with short rows and seamed with a three-needle bind off. The fronts feature an integrated ribbed vertical band; the two sides of the band are grafted together at the center back, then seamed to the back neckline. The sleeves are knit top-down, in the round in 1×1 ribbing using a single strand of Tynd. The side seam pockets are also worked in a single strand of Tynd, and are worked in the round from the pocket opening. Pockets are shaped with increases so that the upper corner of the pocket may be seamed to the lower front panel bind off at the inside of the cardigan, anchoring the pocket and maintaining a clean finish.
