Pringle Twinset

$15

The Pringle Twinset is inspired by 1930’s fashion innovator, knitwear designer Otto Weisz who invented the matching cardigan and top for fashion brand — Pringle of Scotland. The Pringle Twinset is updated with a modern, relaxed fit. It is truly a classic must have for every wardrobe. Pringle Shell and Cardigan are both knitted top down.

NOTES

Cardigan is worked from the top down with a seamless hybrid shoulder. The upper back is knit flat and left on hold. Stitches are picked up for the front shoulders which are worked separately. Then front and back shoulders are joined and stitches are picked up along shoulder edges for the sleeves. The yoke is knit flat to the underarm with an integrated double knitting button band, then body is worked to lower edge. The sleeves are knit from the top down in the round. Choose the size with 2-6” / 5-15 cm of positive ease.

Shell is worked from the top down with a seamless hybrid shoulder. The upper back is knit flat to the underarm. The shoulders are worked flat separately while forming the neckline, then the front is knit flat to the underarm. Stitches are joined to knit the body in the round. Stitches are picked up to work the collar and arm trims in the round. Choose the size with 0-4” / 0-10 cm of positive ease.
