Cardigan is worked from the top down, starting with the back section of a wide collar. Back stitches are picked up along lower edge of collar, shoulder stitches are cast on each side, then back is worked in texture pattern to the underarm. Stitches for both fronts are picked up one row in from the cast-on edge to create a shoulder seam look and then worked to the underarm. Fronts and back are then joined and worked back and forth to hem. Sleeves are picked up from the armhole opening and worked in the round to the cuff.
Bust size is given as twice back width, fronts will overlap slightly. Choose the size with 10–14″ of positive ease.
We would love to see your completed project.
