Sweater is a drop shoulder oversized pullover knit bottom
up. First, stitches for front and back are cast on separately
and worked flat in half-twisted 1×1 ribbing to form the hem.
Then they are joined to work in the round. The main pattern
formed by half twisted 1×1 rib in combination with left and
right twists. Then the front and back are again worked flat in
two pieces from the underarms to the shoulders. After the
shoulders are seamed, stitches are picked up to work a collar.
The sleeves are picked up and worked in the round to the
cuff. Short row shaping is used for shoulders and sleeve cap
shaping. All slipped edge stitches are worked purlwise.
Sample 1 (women’s) is on 5’ 10” model.
Sample 2 (men’s) is on 6’ 3” model.
