GAUGE

20 sts and 32 rows = 4” in Stockinette stitch on larger needles, blocked
25 sts and 32 rows = 4” in Cable pattern on larger needles, blocked

NOTES

The vest is worked flat in pieces and seamed. The front is worked to the shoulder with deep V shaping, then the front neckband is picked up and worked flat. The collar and armhole bands are picked up and worked in the round. Cable pattern may be worked from chart or text.
Choose the size with 8–12” of positive ease.
